"Parc de la Grille" gardens

The French garden was designed by Maximilien Ernest Curten, a student of the Versailles gardener Le Nôtre in the 17th century, and laid out by Claude Paris La Montagne in 1720-1721. The Grille, to which the park owes its name, is a masterpiece of ironwork.
